Enjoy a casual walk around the neighborhood while getting to know the many places we have and how local groups are working to improve them. Each walk is a loop that takes 30-60 minutes at a modest pace and includes a place to get a treat. We will meet as a group, walk, observe the local urbanism, and discuss what we see. **Meet at Glenside Train Station outside Elcy's Cafe.** 1 W Glenside Ave, Glenside, PA 19038. Paid parking available in SEPTA lot, free parking available on side streets. 22 Bus stops are nearby. **Route:** Meet at Elcy's (optionally: grab a treat before we start walking). We will walk south on Easton to Royal to Bickley to Waverly to Keswick to Mt Carmel to Easton. Total distance 1.6 miles, "36 minutes" - includes a steep hill, but walkers that don't want to walk the hill can turn on Toxony or Waverly for a shorter route with no hill, then meet up with the group on Bickley. (This shorter route will be taken in inclement weather.) **Local places of interest:** Elcy's Cafe, Easton business corridor, Glenside Library, zoning variety, the road design of Easton Rd, Arcadia University **We walk in all weather**. The event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather is dangerous (icy, severe storms, heat warning, etc.) but otherwise we walk rain or shine. Weather is part of being a pedestrian! Please dress appropriately for the weather. We may be out in the sun or otherwise exposed to puddles, wind, etc.
