After a busy week, let’s slow things down and enjoy a relaxed Sunday together at beautiful Founders Park. This is a super casual, come-as-you-are hangout—perfect for meeting new people, catching up with friends, and soaking in a nice weathered afternoon outdoors.
Bring a blanket, beach towel or lawn chair to lounge on the grass, and feel free to bring your favorite beverages or drinks to enjoy throughout the day. If you’d like, bring some snacks to share—always appreciated but never required!
We’ll keep things fun and easygoing with some volleyball, a little beer pong, and plenty of time to just relax, chat, and enjoy the park vibes. Whether you’re active or just want to chill, there will be something for everyone.

Parking & Transportation: There is free street parking available on Sundays in the surrounding area, and it’s usually fairly easy to find a spot within a short walk of the park. There are also nearby public garages in Old Town Alexandria, typically ranging from about $5–$10 for the day on weekends, though Sunday street parking is your best bet. Ride-share is also very convenient, and the park is walkable from several bus stops in the area.
