Oct17
Saturday, October 17, 202615:00 – 16:30About the event
Built 125 years ago, the Franke Reading Room is the central hub of the museum's Research Center. Here, staff and visitors alike engage with art history, make new discoveries, spark conversations, and nourish fresh ideas.
Join us in this beautiful historic space to learn more about the reading room, examine its unique architectural features, and view staff favorites from the collections of the Ryerson and Burnham Libraries and Art Institute Archives.
This event follows Jill Bugajski’s 2:00 lecture on the history of the reading room, taking place in Fullerton Hall.
