The Vibe: Show up early, grab a beer, meet some fellow expats, maybe make a Monday night crew. Doors open well before showtime at 8pm, so you've got time to settle in and vibe out.

In 2026, the USA celebrates 250 years of independence – by bringing back the King. With Donald Trump in power, it feels like it’s been 250 years. ‘What a perfect time for another American Revolution,’ says Shapiro. Greg Shapiro is one of the originals at Boom Chicago theatre in Amsterdam. He has hosted Comedy Central News, and yes, he is known as the voice of Trump in the ‘Netherlands Second’ viral video with over 50 million views. Gong show winner David Amsterdam - A once-a-year comedian who leaves the relative comfort of the audience to enthrall the audience. A middle-aged man who still hasn’t worked out what’s going on and is still surprised by everything.
Nira Tal is an Israeli comedian based in Rotterdam, known for her dark observational humour, dry delivery and fearless honesty. Performing since 2018, she is a house comedian at Comedy Club Haug and has performed at comedy clubs and festivals across the Netherlands and internationally, including Lowlands. Her brutally personal takes on relationships, motherhood, ageing and everything we're apparently not supposed to say out loud have also reached millions of people online. Dubbed “the Jewish Ali Wong,” Nira toured her debut solo show Nearly Tall in 2025. She is currently developing her new hour, Grounded — an intimate and darkly funny look at what happens when you reach your forties, after twenty years of marriage, when the life you built starts raising uncomfortable questions about love, desire, and whether monogamy is really the only way to stay grounded.
