Lisbon Historic Center Free Walking Tour — Baixa & Chiado
Join me for a relaxed and enjoyable free walking tour through the heart of Lisbon! We'll explore Baixa and Chiado, two of the most fascinating areas of Lisbon, while discovering the stories behind the streets, squares, churches and monuments. This is not just a sightseeing walk. I'll take you through the story of Lisbon—from the city's golden age and the Portuguese discoveries to the devastating 1755 earthquake, the rebuilding of Baixa, the rise of Chiado's cultural life, and the Carnation Revolution of 1974.
