Improv Fundamentals 8 Week Course + 1 rehearsal and a live showcase Curious about improv but not sure where to start? This is a beginner-friendly course where you’ll learn the basics in a structured, yet relaxed and playful space — no prior experience needed.Over 8 sessions, we’ll cover the core building blocks of improv through games, exercises, reflection sessions and plenty of practice. You will learn skills like active listening, reacting and associating to what is happening around you, building scenes, creating characters, and getting out of your head and into your body. The course builds towards a live showcase at the end, where you’ll get to perform in front of a live audience (and opportunity to let your friends and family see what you have been working on and give you some real accountability). It’s also a really good way to meet people, build confidence, and shake things up mid-week.
