Book Week: Symphony of Stories
About the event
Celebrate Book Week at State Library Victoria with a joyful day packed with activities inspired by the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s theme, Symphony of Stories.
Presented in partnership with the Children’s Book Council of Australia, families are invited to explore a playful program where stories, music and imagination come together in harmony.
Enjoy a full day of free activities, including:
A special storytime with guest author Vikki Conley, 10.30am–11am. Performance by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, 11.15am–12pm. Tickets available soon. Newspaper costume craft session, 11am–12.30pm. Book Week parade, 12.30pm.
No bookings are required (except for the MSO performance), drop in anytime. Spaces are limited so ensure to arrive early to secure your spot.
Please note: a parent or carer must attend this event for the entire duration with their child/children.
