Pro Series: Creating Your Own Photo Story with Photozines
About the event
About the Event
With a growing trend of digital fatigue setting in our lives, many start to look to other analogue types of hobbies that help to ground them. Creating zines offers one such tangible outlet to satisfy our need to be connected to our physical realities.
Drawn from its roots in disseminating ideas and opinions in a DIY method, zines have evolved to take on many other forms, photo zines being one of them. This workshop encourages participants to get involved in storytelling through sequencing photographs, and bringing them to life by creating their own photo zines
You’ll be making your own photo zine so we’d encourage you to bring at least 10 of your own printed photographs no larger than A5 size. Bring more if you’d like! You may also wish to bring your own writing materials to add written details to your photo zine.
