The Hidden Logic of Everyday Behaviour
About the event
Why do people make choices that seem irrational? Why does knowing the “right” thing so often fail to change what we actually do?
In this session, [Ing How Law](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ing-how-law-62435b159/) and [Jaclyn Guan](https://www.bi.team/people/jaclyn-guan/) bring two practical perspectives on [behavioural science](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behavioural_sciences). We will look at how subtle cues, framing and choice design influence consumer decisions and digital journeys. And how environments, systems and social context can shape behaviour in public-policy and real-world settings.
Together, the talks move beyond the usual idea that better decisions simply require more information or willpower. Expect practical examples, counter-intuitive insights and plenty to discuss. You may leave behaving exactly the same way. But you probably won’t see behaviour the same way again.
