🌈 *Three lives. Three generations. One shared inheritance...*
👋 Hey guys! For our next meetup, we’re looking at La Bola Negra (The Black Ball), a Spanish drama which is easily becoming one of the most talked-about films of the year. The film is directed by the acclaimed duo Los Javis and brings together a great cast, including Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close.
From what I understand, the story itself is a multi-generational drama following the interconnected lives and romances of gay men across different eras and it’s actually inspired by an unfinished work by the legendary poet Federico García Lorca. The film has already generated critical acclaim and picked up some major awards along the way, so let’s check it out!
The Meetup: We’ll be meeting for drinks before the film to get acquainted. Then, after the credits roll, we’ll hang around to discuss the movie, share our reviews, and give it our [Letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/movieroadhouse/) score.
