How to Become a Modern Day Meditator
About the event
In this Half Day Meditation Workshop we will discover how ancient meditative techniques that have been tried and tested for centuries are relevant for our modern everyday experiences. You will learn how to meditate, how to refine your skills as a meditator, and how to apply meditation to your life so you can be a truly modern meditation practitioner. We will also see that the results of meditation, such as an experience of unchanging freedom and happiness, can be experienced by us, even in our busy lives.
*“At the beginning, even if our meditation does not seem to be going well, we should remember that simply by applying effort to training in meditation, we are creating the mental karma to experience inner peace in the future.”* • How to Transform Your Life\, page 326 by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
