Green Hairstreak Corridor: Seed Collecting Workshop & Walk

***This is a special hands-on seed collecting workshop and walk where we'll collect seeds for next year's habitat restoration sites - great for beginners and pros alike! You’ll help us collect seeds to grow in our native plant nursery, or you can bring some home seeds to grow on your own!*** Help us collect native seeds to carry us through another season of habitat restoration in the Green Hairstreak Corridor. Folks who join these events help create and expand the ecosystem for this little green gem of a pollinator. We will be touring the Green Hairstreak Corridor, an urban wildlife corridor focused on protecting and building habitat for the Coastal Green Hairstreak Butterfly. We will stop at our various sites and learn about collecting seeds of various native plants. We emphasize biodiverse and ecologically relevant plants, and you will learn about many of our important native plant species. Please dress in long pants, closed-toe shoes, and layers - clothes that might get a little dirty! Bring your own water bottle and sun protection.
