Gradually, the archive becomes a field of investigation, where Marker’s films enter into dialogue and the past comes back to life.Brecht Debackere weaves together excerpts from La Jetée, Sans Soleil and other films with Marker’s archive, thereby creating a journey through memory, disappearance and an ever-shifting identity.
