We'll explore some of the smaller trails in Pennypack Park. These are dirt trails. There will be tree roots, slippery rocks covered with leaves, and other obstacles. There may be mud. There are some steep hills. There is a shallow creek that we will cross using stepping stones. Some parts of the trail are narrow and overgrown. There may be poison ivy.
I recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes or boots and long pants.
Total distance will be about about 5 miles.
We'll meet near the entrance of the parking lot. I'll be wearing a bright orange hat. If you have trouble finding us, call me at 774-249-2494.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.
