Third Wheel Improv presents: A Night of Short Form Improv Join us for an evening of hilarity, giddiness, and yes, the occasional guffaw, as some of Cape Town's most experienced improvisers conjure comical scenes out of thin air — inspired entirely by your suggestions. No script. No safety net. Join our Short Form Improv Mechanics Workshop first.Before the curtain goes up, spend the afternoon with Third Wheel cast members getting under the hood of classic short form games. We’ll decode how some of your favourite short form games actually work, figuring out the specific triggers that make them funny, and learning how to let the game rules do the heavy lifting so you don't have to force the comedy. You'll walk away knowing why some rounds fly and others stall, and the practical tricks that make short form effortless to play. Who it's for: Improvisers and performers who want to sharpen their game play, pick up the pace, and master short form mechanics. THINGS TO KNOW:* Please arrive on time - no entry is allowed after the show starts. Latecomers will be admitted at interval only.* Children must have their own seat - no sitting on laps.* No outside food or drinks are allowed. Refreshments are available for purchase inside.* You're welcome to take food and drinks into the theatre, but please return your glasses to the bar afterward.* No flash photography or videography is permitted during the performance.* Free secure parking is available just 50 meters past the theatre (next to the Woodshop). The lot closes 30 minutes after the show ends. Please avoid parking in residential roads to keep access clear for local residents. * Disabled parking is available on request.
