Is this your event?About the event
Do you like to play football, but relaxed and not with competitive or aggressive players? Are you a bit lazy, a bit old, a bit unfit or not so talented? Then Lousy & Lazy Football is the right thing for you!
We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. All genders, ages (+18) and nationalities welcome. Every Wednesday we meet in a school gym in Pankow for an indoor session.
When & where
• Every Wednesday, 8:00-10:00 pm. Please be there by 7:50 pm, so we can kick off at 8:00 pm sharp. • Gym of the Grundschule im Blumenviertel, Syringenplatz 30, 10407 Berlin (Pankow) • Entrance: go in through the blue gate, then turn right immediately. Its the old hanger to your right • Ring the bell at the door. Please never leave the door open or put anything in the doorway to keep it open!
Getting there by public transport
• S-Bahn: S41 / S42 (Ringbahn) or S8 to S Landsberger Allee, then about 600 m (roughly a 8-10 minute walk) to the school • Bus: 156, 158 or 200 to Stedingerweg, about 600 m from the school • Tram: stop Oderbruchstr., about 600 m from the school (please check the lines in the BVG app)
Gym rules (please read!)
• Indoor shoes only: clean shoes with light, non-marking soles that you have never worn outside. No studs, no street shoes. • No smoking, no vaping, no alcohol.(Its a school!) • Do not use the emergency exit or let people in through it • At the end, close all windows using the tilt switches. • Turn the water taps off completely, they tend to stay open. • Never touch the heating! If we want the heating on, we tell the caretaker.
Lousy & Lazy rules:
1. Don’t be competitive: fun only! Enjoy the workout, nice people and magic ball moments. 2. No emotional shouting, no telling other players where to go and what to do. 3. No hard tackling and no sliding (especially not on a gym floor). 4. Avoid injuring yourself and other players at all costs. Tight situation? Give up the ball rather than going all in. 5. Support less fit and less skilled players by giving them the time and space to play the ball, and don’t intercept passes to and from them. Bonus points: make them shine! 6. Don’t dribble past multiple players (trying to take on one player is fine). 7. Don’t close down the defenders too quickly. Give the team a chance to play the ball out. 8. Rotate the goalkeeper. 9. Be a team player. 10. Come regularly and be reliable with your RSVPs.
See you on Wednesday! ⚽
