French Pâtisserie Week with Chef Fabien Huchet | 4 Night Masterclass
About the event
Four evenings, four icons of French pâtisserie, one Parisian chef. Macarons, éclairs, chocolate crémeux with mirror glaze and a Saint Honoré, fully hands on, from 27 to 30 October, 5pm to 8pm.
This is the week you stop admiring French pastry and start making it. For four nights only, from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October 2026, 5pm to 8pm, Chef Fabien Huchet brings the techniques of Lenôtre, Le Meurice and Le Royal Monceau into our kitchen. No watching from the back. No shortcuts. Real professional methods, done with your own hands. Here is what you will make. Macarons with the Italian meringue technique, filled with a fruit confit, a chocolate ganache and a salted caramel. Chocolate éclairs and choux buns. A chocolate crémeux under a flawless mirror glaze. And a Saint Honoré built on a crisp tart shell, the elegant way. Why this combo works for everyone: these are the building blocks of French pâtisserie. Learn them properly once and you can turn them into any flavour you want. If you are a professional, you walk away with recipes ready to put on your menu the next day. If you are an amateur, you walk away with the confidence and the method that YouTube never gave you. We are running it now for a reason. When the heat hits Cape Town, glazes, caramel and chocolate become very unforgiving. This is your window.Dilmah tea, coffee, snacks and a jam tasting are included every evening. Come straight from work, we have you covered.R6000 per person for four nights with a Parisian chef ONLY 6 SPOTS available only. Places are limited and this week will not wait. Book now.
