About the event
IWhat you will be doing You will take part in an early version of a GeoCash treasure hunt through Melbourne’s CBD. You will be placed into a small team and use a phone to: Follow location and navigation clues Travel between several checkpoints Solve riddles, codes and observation challenges Find Melbourne landmarks and hidden details Unlock and capture digital relics Test whether the instructions, maps and gameplay are clear Tell us what worked, what was confusing and what should change This is a development test, so some parts may not work perfectly. Finding those problems is one of the main reasons for running the session. You do not need specialist knowledge or previous treasure hunt experience. At the end, we will have a short discussion about what you enjoyed, where you became stuck and whether you would play a finished GeoCash hunt. There will not be a long report or complicated survey.
