Teen Open Studio: Paper-Cut Pictures

Get inspired by the sculptures on view in Abigail Lucien: Blood of the Earth and experiment with paper to create unconventional compositions—or contribute to a collaborative artwork with your fellow teens.

This program is designed for teens ages 13–18. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed. Please reach out to teens@artic.edu if you have any questions.

We’re hosting monthly open studio hours for high school students on Chicago Public School nonattendance days to co-create a communal place that is not home or school, but a youth-centered third space. Explore the museum, make art, eat snacks, and hang out with fellow teen creatives!
