About the event

Our Urban Park Rangers will guide you to the best viewing spots in New York City to see migratory birds. Birding programs are appropriate for all skill levels and beginners are welcome. Join the Urban Park Rangers for a walk through Arverne East Nature Preserve to meet the late-migrating shorebirds that pass through New York City on their way to their wintering grounds, including young birds embarking on their migration journey for the first time.
