Riley's Toronto Sommelier Showdown
About the event
The Sommelier Showdown is back — bringing a little friendly competition to Toronto’s food and wine scene this fall.
Starting September 28 at Riley’s Toronto, two leading sommeliers will go head-to-head, pairing wines with a decadent four-course dinner while guests taste, compare and ultimately vote for the winner. The winning sommelier advances to the next round, culminating in a Final Showdown on November 23.
It’s part culinary competition, part wine education and part night out — with the pairings unfolding course by course in front of a live audience.
