The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
About the event
Directed by Julia Kreutzer When Edward Tulane, a vain and self-centered toy rabbit, is accidentally thrown overboard while on an ocean voyage, he is catapulted into an incredible adventure. Over several decades, Edward’s travels take him across the country, relying on the generosity of strangers from vastly different circumstances. Through this miraculous journey, Edward experiences love, loss and heartbreak, ultimately asking how we can find the courage to love again. Based on Kate DiCamillo’s beautiful novel of the same name, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is simultaneously thrilling, moving and magical. CONTENT ADVISORY: This production includes themes and abstract depictions of grief, abuse, loss of a child, and housing and job insecurity.
