Hi all! Let’s hike in the Ardennes and enjoy the beginning of this beautiful season!
We propose an approximately 3.5-hour hike (13 km) between Trooz and Nessonvaux. It’s a loop that starts and ends at Trooz train station. It is a mixed terrain.
There will also be an opportunity to bail out about 60% of the way in Nessonvaux if needed.:-)
The weather forecast looks good, but if it rains… well, bring a rain jacket and proper shoes!
Komoot rates the hike as MODERATE, so expect some steep ascents and descents from time to time. But hey, we’re not in the Alps! 😄
The train back to Brussels runs every hour.
🎫 Tickets: Please buy a return ticket to Nessonvaux!!!! in case we change the route.
Meeting point: 10.45am next to Starbucks Gare Central, the train leaves at 11.01. don't be late. if you wanna catch it in Midi (10.56) or North (11.07), target the head of the train.
Direction: Eupen. We will get off in Liege and hop on another train.
