Weekly Wednesday Night Surf and Hangout

**Weekly Wednesday Night surf meetup** **STARTING UP WEDNESDAY MAY 13TH** Surf at 26th Street Manhattan Beach by Bruce's Beach (MEET IN THE WATER), then head over to Sharkeez Manhattan Beach nearby for food and drinks. We usually have a deal with Sharkeez to give us 2 for 1 drinks, along with a potential free taco platter/pitchers depending on the day. TBD to see what they give us this year but it'll probably be similar. There's a metered parking lot off 26th Street and Manhattan Ave that usually has plenty of parking on Wednesday evenings. The lot is across the street to Bruce's Beach park, so if you look up Bruce's Beach on the map you'll see the parking lot just West of it. Most people arrive between 6-6:45, but some people come earlier and some come later depending on traffic and when they get off work so we just meet in the water. There's usually not a lot of people out there on Wednesday evenings, so if you walk out directly to the beach by the 26th street lifeguard tower and see a group of people surfing together it's most likely us. Often times there's a current and we will drift north or south, so just be aware that we may not be directly in front of 26th but if you walk out from there you'll be able to easily spot us. Be aware that the parking lot technically closes at 8 and they'll sometimes give tickets. As long as you get to your car by 8 you're totally fine and usually they're not strict about giving tickets right at 8 but just be aware. As always, feel free to message us if you have any questions!
