Join us for an epic week of hiking and exploration on South Africa’s Cape Peninsula, based in Noordhoek, a coastal gem with beachfront accommodation overlooking endless white sand.

Our group accommodation, reserved exclusively for us, is situated just below Chapman’s Peak Drive and offers splendid mountain and ocean views — the perfect place to relax and socialise together after a day on the trails.

From this idyllic base, we will hike along rugged mountain ridges and dramatic coastlines, taking in sweeping ocean views and discovering some of the Cape’s most iconic sights.

There’s no shortage of trails to explore, from the cliffs above Chapman’s Peak to the legendary Table Mountain range. Beyond the trails, enjoy a scenic excursion to Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, visit Boulders Beach to see its famous colony of African penguins, and go wine tasting in the surrounding valleys.

Back at our accommodation, meals are prepared in-house by a talented chef known for heartfelt, home-cooked dishes that showcase fresh, locally inspired flavours. Each meal is crafted with care and a touch of sophistication, celebrating South African ingredients and tradition.

DIFFICULTY:

Hikes on this trip are challenging, with some significant elevation gains and steep climbs/descents, and this trip is therefore best suited for fit, experienced hikers. The trails are not technical, but may involve some moderate scrambling and you should be comfortable on rough, rocky, and uneven terrain.

ITINERARY:

Sat 31/10 (-/-/D) - Arrival in Noordhoek.

Sun 01/11 (B/LP/D) - Hike from Noordhoek to Chapman's Peak and East Fort (11km, 750m up/down).

Mon 02/11 (B/LP/D) - Hike from Kirstenbosch to Table Mountain via the Skeleton Gorge (10km, 1000m up/800m down).

Tue 03/11 (B/LP/D) - Two ocean's circuit hike in Cape Point nature reserve (13km, 400m up/down) and visit Boulder's Beach to see the penguins.

Wed 04/11 (B/LP/D) - Vineyard area walk and visit to one of the Cape's famous wineries.

Thu 05/11 (B/LP/D) - Echo Valley hike to Boomslang Cave and the Amphitheatre from Kalk Bay (12-15km, 750m up/down).

Fri 06/11 (B/LP/D) - Hike to be decided — there’s no shortage of incredible trails to choose from! Or enjoy a relaxed day soaking up the sun on the beach.

Sat 07/11 (B/-/-) - Trip finishes in Noordhoek.
