Here's a chance to dance outdoors downtown as the end of summer starts to approach (many, many weeks from now).
Public Disco has been holding all-ages, outdoor urban dance events like this in Vancouver for 10 years. [This one is free. From the website](https://www.publicdisco.ca/events/downtown2026):
"Curated for the second year by Dairy Free, the lineup brings all-vinyl sets from some of the city's most trusted selectors. An expanded record market returns after last year's success, joining a food market and the wide open steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
This is what Public Disco does best, placing dance music where it doesn't typically live, and making it feel like it belongs there."
This particular Public Disco event is free and open to the public from 2-10 pm.
***But please note that our group's Meetup event starts at 7 and is for those who want to hang out together at this larger Public Disco event.*
Meeting place: The Georgia end of the white pavilion/bus shelter on the Howe Street side of the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza. It’s the distinctive white slatted structure along the east edge of the plaza. [See pictures here](https://milkovicharchitects.com/vancouver-art-gallery-north-plaza/pavilion-at-night-02).
