Have you ever wanted to meet a Japanese family, make local connections, and experience a little bit of everyday life in Osaka?
Join us for a casual international exchange where you can chat in English, meet Japanese families, and make new connections over food!😋
Whether you’re visiting Japan or living in Osaka, this event is a chance to meet local people in a way that goes beyond typical sightseeing or language exchange.
✈️What you’ll experience 1. Icebreaker \| Get to know each other We’ll start with a fun icebreaker to help everyone feel comfortable. You’ll also learn some useful English and Japanese phrases and tips for communicating across cultures — even if you’re not confident speaking Japanese or English!
2. A Mini meal for bridge Experience Have you heard of "meal for bridge"? We connect international visitors with local families at their favorite neighborhood restaurants — places the family actually visits in their everyday lives.
Through sharing a meal and conversation, guests and local families get to discover each other’s everyday lives, interests, and perspectives.
At this event, you’ll get to experience a small part of that experience! You’ll be paired with a Japanese family and another guest, and each group will spend time talking about your everyday lives, hobbies, interests, travel, and more.✨
Depending on the number of participants, we plan to have three conversation rounds so you can meet different people.
• Round 1 — 20 min • Round 2 — 20 min • Round 3 — 20 min
Don’t worry if you’re not fluent in English or Japanese — the goal is simply to enjoy talking and getting to know each other!
3. Learn More About Meal for Bridge After the experience, we’ll introduce meal for bridge and how you can join a real meal experience with a local family in the future.
🐣 Families & Kids Welcome! Traveling with children? No problem! We especially welcome families who would like to meet other families and experience international exchange together.
Whether you’re visiting Osaka from overseas, living in Japan, or simply looking for a chance to connect with local Japanese people, come join us!

☕ Participation Fee 1,500 yen / person ※ Free for children under 6. The participation fee includes light snacks and drinks provided during the event.
We’ll send you a payment link in advance. Please complete your payment online before the event.
✔️Registration & Cancellation Registration is required to participate. ⚠️ If you need to cancel your participation, please let us know by 10:00 PM on the day before the event.
Please avoid cancelling after the deadline or simply not showing up, as we have a limited number of spots.
Space is limited to 20 participants, so we recommend registering early! ✨
