Meet Ned McGowan
Ned McGowan is an influential American-Dutch flutist, composer, and teacher from Amsterdam. He specializes in the contrabass flute and has contributed significantly to the modern repertoire for low flute. He also presents his new design of the vertical flute. Be inspired by his feedback and percussion works.
Anne La Berge creates her own worlds
Anne La Berge explores the extremes of composed and improvised music. Her work reflects social and political themes and gives her music urgency and depth. She uses a quarter-tone flute, electronics, controllers, live processing, and spoken text to create her distinctive sound world.
