🌿🥾 GO HIKE! Southern Ridges Adventure 🌳🌉 Ready to escape the city and recharge in nature? 😊 Next Saturday, let’s explore one of Singapore’s most scenic hiking routes — the Southern Ridges! 📅 Date: Saturday, 5 September 📍 Meeting Point: Kent Ridge MRT, Exit B ⏰ Meeting Time: 8:15 AM 🥾 Our Route & Highlights We’ll explore a beautiful mix of forest trails, elevated walkways and scenic viewpoints: 🌿 Canopy Walk 🌺 HortPark 🌉 Alexandra Arch 🌳 Forest Walk 🌉 Henderson Waves ⛰️ Mount Faber Peak Along the way, expect plenty of greenery, fresh air, great views and, of course, lots of good conversations and laughter! 😄 📏 Distance: Approximately 8–10 km ⏱️ Duration: About 3 hours 💪 Difficulty: Intermediate 🍜 After the hike: We’ll head to Seah Inn Food Centre for lunch and continue the conversations over a good meal! 😋 🎒 What to Bring ✅ Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip ✅ Water — ideally 1.5–2L ✅ Cap/hat & sunscreen ✅ Small towel ✅ Light snacks ✅ Rain gear/umbrella 🌦️
🌦️ Hike Tip: Singapore weather can change quickly, so come prepared for sun or rain. We’ll keep a comfortable pace and take short breaks along the way. Most importantly, come with a positive mood and ready to enjoy the outdoors! 🌿😊
