Read & Riff: A Book Club for Short Story Lovers
About the event
Would you sacrifice one innocent life if it guaranteed happiness for everyone else?
This is one idea we will discuss at the next Read & Riff meeting, where we'll dive into Ursula K. Le Guin's short story ‘The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas.’
Read & Riff is a book club for short story lovers. We come together to share what we loved, hated, questioned and everything in between about a selected story.
Read the selected story in advance, then join Debbie (your host) who will bring questions to guide the discussion and keep the conversation flowing.
There are no experts, no homework beyond the reading, and no right answers. Just good stories and even better conversations.
