Saman Amini - Saman Amini's Integratieplan #2 - Alles is perspectief

Saman Amini takes you through themes that divide the Netherlands in his cabaret show Integratieplan #2: Alles is Perspectief at De Kleine Komedie Amsterdam. With humour and personal stories from his hyper-diverse circle of friends, he invites you to look at things differently. Cabaret about themes that divide the Netherlands

In Integratieplan #2: Alles is Perspectief, Saman Amini takes you through subjects that divide the Netherlands today: fascism, racism, inequality, homophobia, LGBTQIA+ rights, woke culture, and the role of the media in polarization. He does not do this from a safe wall of opinions, but by digging, investigating, and stepping into the shoes of others — however uncomfortable that may be.

A hyper-diverse circle of friends as a foundation

Saman grew up in an asylum seekers' centre, among people from half the world. Later, he lived in a Brabant farming village and worked his way up to the cultural elite in the big city. This gave him a circle of friends ranging from gay to homophobic, from feminist to sexist, from ex-criminal to former minister. Everywhere he heard hard truths for which there is no room in the mainstream media.

Cabaret that chafes and challenges

This is not a performance where you sink back into your chair. Alles is Perspectief pricks, chafes, and invites you to redefine your own position. Always with humor, always with the thought that the perspective of the other is closer than you think. The performance can be seen at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam. Are you interested?
