Self-Compassion For Burnout Recovery
About the event
*🌻 We’ve moved to Luma! To join this event, you can sign up [here](https://luma.com/rpp2a3if). RSVPing on Meetup does not reserve your spot. 🌻*
Burnout prevention and recovery can be supported by learning to meet ourselves with more compassion, especially when negative thoughts, self-criticism, or difficulty accepting where we are add to the mental load. In this guided session with [Tricia Mark](https://www.triciamark.com/?utm_source=luma), health and wellness coach, we’ll explore self-compassion through gentle reflection and practical exercises designed to reconnect body and mind, soften difficult thought patterns, and create more space to understand what we need.
🌿 What to expect:
• Guided self-compassion practices, including meditation and journaling • Light reflection to notice and soften unhelpful thought patterns • Practical techniques you can continue using at home • A calm, supportive space with optional sharing • An optional open space after the practice to stay, connect, and share with others
*Please note: This session may not be suitable if you’re currently experiencing acute psychological distress, such as severe anxiety or panic attacks.*
✨ What to bring:
• A yoga mat, cushion, or something comfortable to sit on • A notebook and pen • Comfortable clothing to stay cozy during still moments
💡 Good to know:
• We meet outside OT301, in front of the gate • Our events start on time; joining late isn’t possible • Be fully present and keep phones away during the event • Be kind and respectful of each other • At least five sign-ups are needed for the event to take place • Can’t make it?
