Assertiveness - Drama Class
About the event
Details Do you doubt yourself too much? Afraid to speak up, try something new, start the project you've postponed, or leave a job that no longer fits your growth?
You're not alone — it's natural to feel anxious about change. Banana Acting Studio is a space to shed the fear, doubt, and superficiality that keep us small, through five layers:
1. Playfulness — connect with body and mind, get out of your head, start kicking fear's butt. 2. Improv Scenes — activate your imagination through roles, relationships, and conflicts, in a safe, playful space. 3. Assertiveness vs. Doubt in your own life — career, relationships, vocation — through scenes exploring risk, choice, and consequence. 4. Closure & Transition — a shared practice to set an intention and carry it forward.
Part of the Freedom Keys series — drama for self-discovery, with a Drama Therapist in Training. Not a substitute for licensed therapy; if you're navigating a mental health concern, please also seek support from a licensed professional.
Shed the banana skin of the ego — shyness, doubt, fear — and live with clarity, courage, and discover Real you.
