💥 “Waking up” – what is Awakening? 💥

💥 “Waking up” – what is Awakening? 💥 “*You will [wake up]. I shall not be thwarted. It may take some time. When you shall begin to question your dream, awakening will be not far away.*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

“Awakening” is one of the fundamental concepts in Spirituality. The promise of “waking up” relative to Mindfulness and a more conscious life suggests increased clarity amidst intense experiences, and Heart or Soul Awakenings suggest stations on a journey to the core of one’s Being. Effortlessness hints at an existing perfection that does not need a change while Merit, Effort and Energy are emphasized in other contexts. Given the myriads of testimonies, it seems that Awakening can be experienced quite differently for different people.

Let's meet and share for an afternoon about what Awakening is and how our practice, our aspirations and experiences might relate to it.

“*As you grow in knowledge and insight, the borderline between lower and higher nature keeps on receding, but the two remain until they are seen as one. For, in fact, everything is most wonderfully inexplicable!*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)
