Jazz pianist and composer Jason Moran is one of the most original minds in contemporary jazz. For two decades now, he has consistently carved out his own path within the genre - whether performing solo, on his albums for Blue Note, or with his groundbreaking trio, The Bandwagon. With his constant drive for innovation, Moran - who has served as Artistic Director of the iconic Jazz at The Kennedy Center for ten years - redefines what live jazz can be: music that thinks and feels, that provokes and moves.
