Palli - Lizard
About the event
SYNOPSISA provocative psychological drama by NAC’s cultural medallion recipient Haresh Sharma that explores fear, prejudice, and the invisible walls we build around ourselves. Set in a tense domestic space, the play uses the presence of a lizard as a metaphor for suspicion and xenophobia, slowly revealing how paranoia can distort relationships and expose buried insecurities. First staged by The Necessary Stage, the work is a sharp commentary on identity, otherness, and the fragile line between perceived threat and imagined danger.PRODUCTION CREDITSPresented by: Blacspice MediaCommissioned by: Agam Theatre LabDirectors: Saleem HadiPlaywrights: Haresh Sharma Translation: Saleem HadiProduction & Stage Manager: Saleem HadiPartnerships & Outreach: Sankari ElavalahanLighting designer: TBCSound Design: Saleem HadiPublicity Design: Saleem HadiSet Design: Saleem HadiMakeup & Costume Design: TBCSurtitles: TBCPhotography: BrandonVideography and Marketing Materials: Seyyon MediaCast : Anbu Navin N Annadurai, Surendran Ananthan, Sheena Grace
