Thursday Evening Tea, Stretching & Meditation

Looking for a relaxed and welcoming way to spend your Thursday evening? Join us at Jeweled Flower Temple for tea, gentle practice, and conversation. Each gathering is flexible and shaped by the people who come.

☕ 7:00 PM – Tea Gathering

Temple Lounge, 2nd Floor We begin with a cup of tea and friendly conversation. There is no fixed agenda, so you are welcome to bring any questions you may have about meditation, Buddhism, or practice.

🧘 Gentle Stretching & Quiet Meditation

Some evenings, we stay in the Temple Lounge for light stretching followed by quiet sitting meditation. The stretching helps release tension and prepare the body for a more comfortable sitting posture.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Stretching with a Professional Instructor

Dharma Hall, 3rd Floor Depending on the interests of the group, we may move upstairs for a longer yoga stretching session led by a professional yoga instructor. The instructor can help participants improve flexibility, alignment, and sitting posture, making meditation more stable and comfortable.

When there are many questions, the evening may naturally become an open Q&A session. Feel free to ask about meditation, sitting posture, Buddhist practice, or anything you would like to discuss. Every Thursday evening is a little different. We may drink tea, stretch, meditate, ask questions—or enjoy a combination of them all.
