The Movement Series: Deadlift Edition

HybridFit is bringing you the movement series: Deadlift Edition. This is an intimate event designed to help you move better and more safely. The deadlift is one of the most functional movements there is, picking things up off the ground is something we do almost everyday, yet it's also one of the most misunderstood, often written off as "bad for your back" when the real issue is usually technique. So we're bringing you an opportunity to learn the movement from the ground up. Here is what you can look forward to:First, a hands-on coaching clinic: deadlift mechanics, how to brace, how to hinge safely, and the variations.We'll then practice the movement and you'll get individual cues and corrections on the floor.Then we move into a fun and energising community workout. Whether you've never picked up a barbell or you're wanting to improve your technique, you'll walk out knowing exactly what to work on and safely execute the deadlift.
