Come and join us for the 47th Annual Harvard Square Oktoberfest, Filipino Festival, and the HONK Parade, happening Sunday, October 11 (rain date Oct 12) in Harvard Square!🇵🇭
🎺This year, 33 bands take over Davis Square for a giant music and dance party, and on Sunday, local community groups, artists, and activists working for causes like economic justice, protecting the environment, world peace, and an end to racism join the brass bands for a spectacular parade from Davis Square to Harvard Square along Mass Ave.
📍Meeting Spot: Outside Joe's Pizza, 3 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA 0213 🕐 Time: 1:00 PM (the festival runs until 6PM) 🗓 When: Sun, Oct 11 🎟 Cost: Free
We'll meet up to catch the HONK! Parade as it enters Harvard Square, then walk over together to check out the beer gardens and festivities
🥁 The HONK! Parade — featuring activist street bands from across the country — marches from Davis Square starting at 12 PM and arrives in Harvard Square around 1:15 PM, joining the Oktoberfest festivities
What to expect at Oktoberfest 🎶 Live music, 🍽 International food vendor, 🎨 A🍺 Beer garden, Artisans and venders. PLUS!! The 5th Annual Filipino American Festival 🇵🇭 is happening too!
