International Buddhist Temple + Lunch
About the event
We will meet in the courtyard of the International Buddhist Temple at 10:30 a.m. and then lunch (optional) at the Shady Island Seafood Bar and Grill (Steveston) at noon.
This temple, also known as the Guan-Yin Temple, is a striking Chinese Buddhist temple built in the traditional imperial style, inspired by the architecture of Beijing’s Forbidden City. Opened in 1983, the complex features ornate red-and-gold buildings, elaborate Buddhist statues, courtyards, ponds, and a beautiful classical Chinese garden.
