Experience a special after-hours tour and an exclusive Curatorial talk to uncover the history, artistry and untold stories of NSW's principal commemorative and interpretive monument. Stories of the Anzac Memorial’s bas reliefs Wednesday 9 September 2026 | 3:30pm – 4:30pm Uncover the hidden stories behind Rayner Hoff's beautiful designs that surmount the east and west sides of the building. Each of these bronze panels measures 32 feet long and depicts the Eastern and Western Fronts respectively without heroics or pathos. The Curatorial team will explore the stories depicted and give audiences a rare opportunity to view some of the artifacts in the Memorial's collection that relate to the bas reliefs. These artifacts will be on display later in the year in our new temporary exhibition so this is your opportunity to get an early preview before the rest of the public.
