Gearhouse and Standard Brewing Announce Seattle Outdoor Gear Swap Gearhouse and Standard Brewing are teaming up to bring Seattle’s outdoor community together for an afternoon of swapping, selling, and celebrating the gear that gets us outside. The Outdoor Gear Swap will take place Sunday, October 11th, from 12:30–5:30 PM at Standard Brewing on the corner of 25th Ave & Jackson St. This community-driven event will give Seattle-area outdoor enthusiasts a chance to sell and discover quality used outdoor gear while connecting with fellow hikers, climbers, cyclists, skiers, paddlers, campers, and general outdoor obsessives. The idea is simple: you have gear you don't use; someone else probably wants it. Participants can bring their gently used outdoor recreation equipment and apparel to sell or trade. Buyers can browse the collection, find some new-to-them gear, and hopefully score a bargain or two. Sellers don't need to stay at the event to sell their gear, making it easy to drop things off and enjoy the afternoon. The Gear Swap is designed to be more than a marketplace. It’s a chance to bring Seattle’s outdoor community together in a relaxed neighborhood setting—to swap stories, meet potential adventure partners, and give good gear another life instead of letting it gather dust in the garage. Event Details Outdoor Gear Swap Sunday, October 11th, 2026 12:30–5:30 PM Standard Brewing covered patio 2504 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98144 Early gear drop off (small items only): Thur-Friday Oct. 8-9 anytime to bar is open. Make sure your gear is labeled!! How it works:

• Bring your gently used outdoor gear and apparel to sell. • Every item must be individually labeled with your name, phone number, Venmo handle, item description, and asking price. (we have labels if you need them) • Buyers purchase items directly from sellers through Venmo. • A checkout table will ensure payments have been made. Standard Brewing is not responsible for lost or stolen items. • Sellers may leave their gear at the event and don't need to stay. • Want to haggle or trade? Stick around and make a deal in person. • All sales are final and are solely the responsibility of the buyer and seller. • Any unclaimed gear remaining after the event will be donated or rehomed.

Whether you're cleaning out the garage, hunting for a deal, or simply looking to meet more people who think a Saturday spent outside sounds better than almost anything else, come hang out.
