Autumn Rhythms: Ayurvedic Gathering for Cozy, Grounded Days
About the event
As the days grow darker and the wind turns colder, many of us notice the shift in our bodies too: restless sleep, dry skin, a busy mind, cravings for comfort. Ayurveda, India's ancient "science of life," has a lot to say about how to meet this season with warmth and balance. Join me for a cosy, hands-on afternoon in a small group of no more than 8 people. You'll be introduced to the Ayurvedic view of energy, food and wellbeing, in plain language and with plenty of tasting, sharing and practical tips to take home. What we'll explore together 🍂 The five elements and the three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), and how to recognise them in yourself 🍂 Why autumn is "Vata season" in Ayurveda, and simple ways to stay grounded through Swedish autumn 🍂 The six tastes of Ayurveda, with a tasting plate to experience each one 🍂 Your relationship with food and water: how, when and why we eat matters as much as what we eat 🍂 Simple everyday habits to support digestion 🍂 A short reflection to create your own small autumn ritual Warm masala chai and Ayurvedic snack are included. Who is this for? Anyone who's curious. No prior knowledge is needed, and if you've already explored Ayurveda a little, you're just as welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and non-judgmental. You're free to simply listen or to share as much as you like.
