Melanie Chisholm, better known as Melanie C of the Spice Girls, discovered her love for dance and rave in Spain in the early 1990s. Years later, she returns to her dance roots with her music, combining her experience as a pop singer with her passion as a DJ. Her recent work is an ode to the energy of the club, the power of getting back up, and finding joy on the dance floor. The British singer will showcase this at a sold out Melkweg. Club scene
In Spain, she became fascinated by the emerging rave culture and completely lost herself on the dance floor. Back in the United Kingdom, she dove deeper into the club scene, where artists like The Prodigy and Grooverider formed the soundtrack of a generation. Shortly afterwards, her life changed drastically when she auditioned for a new girl band and eventually became world-famous with the well-known Spice Girls.
