De Glazen Wonderbol (4+)
About the event
Fithe Figurentheater tells the story of Milu and the glazen wonderbol in Amstelveens Poppentheater. Through sand drawings, shadow play and live music, you will experience a magical adventure about wishes and choices. Afterwards, you will get to work on a sand painting yourself. A story about wishes and choices
Milu, a child from a faraway land, finds a glass wonder sphere. The sphere grants one wish — but really only one. What does Milu want most of all? The story by Fithe Figurentheater takes you into the world of a child facing a difficult choice. It touches on a question that every child and every adult recognizes: what is truly important to you?
Sand drawings, shadow play and live music
The performance combines different forms of play. Fithe Figurentheater uses sand drawings and shadow figures to tell the story, with live music that enhances the atmosphere. Through the combination of image and sound, you follow the story in multiple ways at once. After the performance, you get the chance to draw yourself on a small, illuminated sand table. This way, you can create your own sand painting, inspired by what you just saw. The performance is suitable for children aged 4 and up.
Amstelveens Poppentheater
