Night Hike (7 miles, red lights), Wissahickon Brewing after (SEPTA accessible)
About the event
This is just a night hike, no Scary Night hike this year
This hike will be a week before the full moon so since we won't have a full sky of light, red lights are ok PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HEADLAMP HAS A RED LIGHT no bright white lights (if you have to ask why are we hiking without bright lights, this may not be the event for you)
We'll do about 7 miles, 2 hours and then head to Wissahickon Brewing for some post-hike drinks and food check their food truck calendar here: https://www.wissahickonbrew.com/east-falls-brewery/#hours-location
We will be on rocky trails with trees, roots, big step ups and step downs, make sure you are comfortable with this Sturdy hiking shoes or boots are required dress for the weather but WILL CANCEL FOR RAIN OR DRIZZLE

We hike at about 3 miles an hour, maybe a little less since it's dark if that's too slow for you, too bad if that's too fast for you, walk faster
We'll meet at the Wissahickon Trail on Ridge Ave - you can park at either Gustine Recreation Center or at the Movie theater down the street or even at Wissahickon Brewery and walk over if you are going there afterwards
ACCESSIBLE BY SEPTA! for those in the city that don't have a car you can: take a bus to the Wissahickon Transportation Center take the regional rail to the Wissahickon Train Station
Not allowing 'guests' on this one, everyone must be a group member, to make sure they know all the details and get any updates if needed
