Neo-Gothic Calligraphy Course

Neo-Gothic script is a blackletter calligraphy style born from 19th century English revival. It's perfect for titles and headings or paired with Copperplate. Neo-Gothic appears more softer than traditional gothic due to its curves and the short spurs from the corners of each letter contribute to it's ornamentation. Skill level: Beginner Contents: Lowercase and uppercase letters Numbers Cloud compositions/ornamentation Decorative spurs, stars and lines Where: Rikota Studios, Studio 10, Marrickville [in-person] When: 8x Mondays: October 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; December 7, 14.
