About the Event Join us for an art hunt through the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library’s reading rooms! Discover artworks from NLB’s artwork collection, displayed as part of the latest edition of Art x Stacks. Hunt down clues found on the artwork displays, listen to the stories of the artists in our newly launched audio guide; get creative and stand a chance to win some prizes! The new audio guide for Art x Stacks features oral history interviews conducted with artists. Look out for the QR codes, scan to listen, and hear more from the perspectives of artists working in Singapore during the 1980s and 1990s. This programme is suitable for adults. About Art x Stacks Located across the reading rooms of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library, Art x Stacks is a display of artworks and resources drawn from the National Library Board’s collection. This edition focuses on stories surrounding the artists and their artworks, set against a changing sense of place in Singapore during the 1980s and 1990s. Registration and Attendance • Registration is not required for this programme.
