Join us for a free Protect the Pollinators workshop with expert and guest speaker from Water Replenishment District (WRD) and a guided walk led by urban ecologist Ryan Kinzel from the LA Department of Recreation & Parks (LA RAP).
The life of any garden is in the buzz, movement, and song brought by bees, birds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Learn how to make your landscape more welcoming to these important visitors while supporting local biodiversity.
During this workshop, we’ll explore:
• Key elements for creating a pollinator and bird oasis
• Pollinators and the plants that attract them
• The role of native plants in supporting wildlife
• Factors that threaten pollinator and bird health
