About the Event
Join us in this session to understand the nutritional challenges associated with traditional Fishball Noodles.
You will get to:
• Identify healthier ingredient alternatives and cooking techniques that reduce sodium, saturated fat and calories while increasing fibre and overall nutritional value.
• Compare three progressively healthier recipe formulations and evaluate their impact on taste, nutrition and consumer acceptance.
• Apply healthy recipe reformulation principles to recreate nutritious versions of their own favourite local dishes.
A special selection of library books on healthier cooking will be available for continuing your healthier choice journey!
Please note that this is a food-demonstration only programme. Non-halal ingredients will be used.
